Details

Spotify describes playback normalisation and mastering guidance rather than a delivery acceptance specification. This Profile warns when a master is louder than the normal playback target and checks the general True Peak recommendation. Spotify also advises a stricter True Peak ceiling when a master is louder than target; the current PLVS rule model cannot express that conditional relationship, so review the source guidance when the Integrated warning is active. Playback behaviour can vary by normalisation setting and device.
